Inside Smartphones

Wireless communications have already had profound impacts on society and promise to revolutionize and enrich the human experience even more in the future. While wireless devices are an indispensable part of the daily lives of most people, few are aware of how these devices actually work.

The goal of this program is to introduce interested highschool students to the rapidly evolving and intriguing world of wireless communications.

This program is organized by the VLSI Design and Test Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at San Diego State University.
